Longacre School has been listed in the Sunday Times list of the Top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools in England.

Bursaries and Scholarships

Bursaries (Form III and above):

The Head and Governors are committed, where financial resources permit, to ensuring that the education offered to the children of fee paying parents is also made available to children whose parents would not otherwise be able to afford all or part of the fee through the provision of means-tested bursary assistance.

Bursary assistance up to 100% of the fee may be available to children joining the school in Form III or above. Applicants will be asked to demonstrate financial need by completing a Statement of Financial Circumstances. The final decision will be made by the Governors, after recommendation by the Finance Committee, of which the Head is a member. All bursaries are subject to annual review.

Any prospective parent wishing to apply for a bursary should contact the Bursar on 01483 893225 or via email: bursar@longacreschool.co.uk

Scholarships (Form III entry):

Longacre offers a number of scholarships for children entering Form III (aged 7 years). These are predominantly academic and are assessed via an informal interview with the Headmistress and an academic task. Combined scholarships in academics and sport are also available.

For further information, please contact the Registrar, Mrs Lynne Crisp, on 01483 893225 or email lcrisp@longacreschool.co.uk
