Form III kicked off this half term with their annual trip to Sayers Croft this week.

Why choose Pre-Prep at Longacre School?

There are a multitude of reasons to choose Pre-Prep at Longacre in preference to the local day care. You only have to see our youngest children holding the hands of the Form VI prefects, watch them run in the whole school relay on Sports Day or skip into school in their school uniform to understand why.

Our Pre-Prep pupils are fortunate to be part of the whole school community, as are their parents. They wear the same uniform, are a member of one of the four Houses and are fully engaged in the school community.

The children have access to the very best quality teaching staff for Physical Development and creative learning; they make use of our top quality facilities and run around our 9½ acres of woodland. Our staff care for the children as if they were their own. There are no tarmacked play areas; just fresh air and a real education. Not simply play.

Our children have no concerns over the transition into school life, to full-time education. They are familiar with the daily routines, the teaching staff across the school and are already accomplished socially through their daily interactions.
