Form II Trip to St Paul’s Cathedral

Posted: 6th October 2017

The Fire of London has ignited the imagination of the boys and girls in Form II. They visited St Paul’s Cathedral this week to learn more about the historic event of 1666.

The children enjoyed a role-playing workshop, dressing up as characters from the time, including the diarist Samuel Pepys and the infamous baker, Thomas Farynor. They also admired the glittering ceiling mosaics and staggered up more than 150 steps to the Whispering Gallery.

The children were delightful and totally absorbed throughout the day. Their interest in the Fire of London has been well and truly set ablaze!
