On a perfect summer’s evening over 200 Longacre staff and parents attended the legendary Summer Ball

Involving Parents: Being Part of Your Childs Education

A successful education is not down to any one individual; it is an active combination of child, parent and school working together. At Longacre we encourage parents to become involved in their child’s education.

In the Lower School we have introduced an assessment mechanism called ‘Tapestry’ which has the dual benefit of enabling us to share with our parents those very special school day moments previously exclusively experienced by the teachers. Great communication assists our parents in understanding the activities in which their children are engaged alongside developing knowledge of their abilities and passions. Together, we ensure the very best experience for the children and take our role as your children’s’ memory keepers very seriously.

Parents are encouraged to get involved in school life through joining the PTA, playing cricket matches with the fathers’ team in the summer evenings, hearing readers, accompanying school trips or simply attending a parental information evening.
