King Edward’s Orchestral Day

Posted: 16th October 2017

Some of our Longacre music students enjoyed a thoroughly intensive musical day at King Edwards Witley on Thursday. They were joined by five other schools and learnt a varied range of repertoire throughout the day. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were not daunted by the number of children who joined them for the day. The day was brilliantly organised by King Edward’s Head of Music and culminated in a performance for the parents at the end of the day.

The children showed what excellent ambassadors they are for the school and I hope we will be invited again next year. Next year we hope to have even more places allocated for musical children from Longacre school. Oh and the food was exceptional!

Well done to all the children for working so hard.
