Form III kicked off this half term with their annual trip to Sayers Croft this week.

PTA

Longacre has a thriving PTA which is all inclusive with the vision to raise funds for the school and children. The Parent Teachers’ Association is a parent body which organises social events for parents, children and staff. These have included Quiz evenings, Halloween discos, summer fetes and Easter egg hunts. Each class has a Form Representative that is responsible for ensuring that all parents, but specifically new parents, are involved and aware of the Parent Teachers’ Association’s activities, Form assemblies and other social gatherings.

In previous years the PTA has funded a new school library, a new school mini bus, a potting shed which has been used alongside a very popular gardening club, sports equipment and have contributed to the newly built Astro surface. Throughout the year the PTA runs events that are a joy to be involved in for all and we are extremely fortunate with the commitment from parents, teachers and staff.

The PTA follows the same ethos of the school: all inclusive as everybody has something to offer.
