Life before Longacre
I moved south from Sheffield over twenty years ago with my young family for my husband’s job. While they were young I did supply teaching and maternity cover followed by being an Early Years manager in a local state school for fifteen years which I thoroughly enjoyed. This is now my fifth year at Longacre.
Roles at School
I am a Form I class teacher working alongside Miss Firth. I particularly love maths and art, and spend a long time making resources for our classrooms! I have a particular love of cooking and take Junior Master Chef afterschool club with Miss Beasley.
Away from the Classroom
I love walking my black lab Ruby and look after my daughter’s rescue dog Jameela while she’s teaching. I love to cook anything and everything, and organise the cooking events for the social committee at the local church. My piece de resistance is baking – particularly cakes – and I love giving dinner parties.
