Life before Longacre
Before starting at Longacre I read Biology at the University of Exeter. After graduating I did some part-time work as a ‘Rugbytots’ instructor, a sailing instructor and at a local primary school. These jobs helped me to realise I wanted to continue working with children throughout my career which led to an interest in teaching.
Roles at School
I am currently a Form III Teaching Assistant and always enjoy encouraging the children to try new things, to not be afraid to be different and to achieve the best that they can.
Away from the Classroom
In my free time I have always been a keen sailor and usually sail at my local club at the weekends. I also enjoy running in the evenings and would love to do a marathon at some point in the future. As well as sport I also love spending time with my family and friends.
