The Form II “Woodland Warriors” were joined by a bunch of parental new recruits at the Taster Day Forest School session on Friday and everyone had a fabulous time. The students took the lead at first showing the parents how to search in the wonderful woods for minibeasts – unearthing worms, beetles and even a toad!
Then the new recruits along with Miss Luff, Mr Pittaway and Mrs HP helped all the students use woodland materials to create a fantastic caterpillar conker bird feeder. Everyone agreed that the parents did a great job learning new skills and we look forward to hearing stories of what you all find in your back gardens and out on walks!
