Bursar

The Bursar reports to the Head on a day to day basis on operational matters and to the Chair of Governors on matters of governance. The Bursar is also in regular contact with the Chair of the Finance Committee. The overall responsibility of the Bursar is to lead and manage the non-academic functions of the school, which include finance, estates, HR, IT, Health & Safety, catering and other support functions of the school.

Minibus Driver

Longacre School are seeking to recruit a reliable and punctual individual who holds a valid clean driving licence with category D1 to carry out a daily morning and afternoon minibus run in the local area.

The role is term time only and the working hours are from 0700 – 0900 and 1645 – 1830 (approximately 17.5 hours per week – part time), Monday to Friday during term time. There may be further opportunities to support with minibus driving during school trips if desired.

Ideally the successful candidate will be able to cover both morning and afternoon bus runs however we are also interested to hear from candidates who can support with one run per day.
