KS2 Teacher of Humanities

Longacre School are looking for an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher of Humanities to join the team in September 2023.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the KS2 and Humanities curriculum, a passion for teaching and learning, will motivate and inspire children, have a desire to make a difference as well as a willingness to contribute to the vibrant extra-curricular life at the school.

The KS2 Teacher of Humanities will be responsible for the teaching and learning within a classroom of up to 18 pupils and establishing and maintaining a stimulating working environment.

The KS2 Teacher of Humanities will ensure humanities subjects are taught across the school in a creative and inspiring way. The ability to teach games is desirable.

Starting in September 2023 the role is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The closing date for applications is midday Thursday 16th March 2023. We reserve the right to interview before the closing date and to close this vacancy early if a suitable candidate is found. Interviews to be held on Tuesday 21st March 2023.

Minibus Driver

Longacre School are seeking to recruit a reliable and punctual individual who holds a valid clean driving licence with category D1 to carry out a daily morning and afternoon minibus run in the local area.

The role is term time only and the working hours are from 0700 – 0900 and 1645 – 1830 (approximately 17.5 hours per week – part time), Monday to Friday during term time. There may be further opportunities to support with minibus driving during school trips if desired.

Ideally the successful candidate will be able to cover both morning and afternoon bus runs however we are also interested to hear from candidates who can support with one run per day.

The hourly rate for this role is equivalent to £12.18 per hour (paid as a salary as monthly payments).
