Head of Computing

Longacre School are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Head of Computing to join our thriving teaching team for September 2022.

The Head of Computing will be responsible to the Head of Longacre for the smooth running of their area of responsibility.  They will fulfil the role of a Teacher in addition to their functions of Head of Department.

Candidates will hold QTS, a relevant degree and relevant previous experience.

A desire to contribute to the school’s outstanding extra-curricular programme will be an advantage.

Early Years Teaching Assistant

Longacre School are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to complement our thriving Pre-Prep team. The role will primarily be based within our Kindergarten team working with pupils aged between 3 and 4.

CACHE, NVQ or other recognised qualifications are desirable but not essential as relevant experience and personal qualities will also be taken into consideration. The successful candidate will have energy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a sense of humour and a genuine drive to support all children.

A desire to contribute to the school’s outstanding extra-curricular programme will be an advantage.

The role is full time and the working hours are from 08:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday. Working hours include up to two hours per day to be worked from 16:00 and paid at an additional £14.20 per hour allowance.

Afterschool Care Assistant

Longacre School are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Afterschool Assistant to support and complement our thriving Pre-Prep team.

CACHE, NVQ or other recognised qualifications are desirable but not essential as relevant experience and personal qualities will also be taken into consideration.

The successful candidate will have energy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a sense of humour and a genuine drive to support all children.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo Pediatric First Aid training as part of the role.

The role is part time and the working hours are from 15:45 – 18:00, Monday to Friday on a term time only basis. There may be flexibility in regards to hours.
