On Friday 26th November, Forms III to V signed in to Vashti Hardy’s talk on Ecological Fantasy Writing. Vashti explained her journey as an author and elaborated on her love of creating new worlds to base her character’s adventures.
Vashti Hardy gave the children top tips and ideas on how to build their own worlds, including; collecting interesting images, reading magazines and books with facts in, watching documentaries or the news, reflecting on their own interests in the environment, creating their own rules for your world and finally how to plan their own island.
