Watch Music Week

The music department have had a brilliant couple of weeks. Whilst preparing for 21 ABRSM pupil exams, parents have been coming in to watch their child’s peripatetic lesson. It has been a great opportunity for our parents to meet their child’s peripatetic teacher and hear the pieces they have been working on. It has been wonderful to see the children so excited to give their parents a mini concert.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic peripatetic teachers for all of their hard work and dedication to music at Longacre. Each week our peripatetic team teach 156 personalised lessons, progressing every pupil’s instrumental learning step by step, in a relaxed and fun lesson! A particular thank you to Rachael Jefferies, who continues to always go above and beyond for the Longacre Music Department.
