It was fantastic to welcome so many Longacre grandparents to school last Friday for a special Alice in Wonderland themed Mad Hatter’s Tea Party as the finale of Creative Arts Week.
The afternoon started with a mini concert performed by our numerous rock bands after which grandparents were treated to a wonderful afternoon tea spread and viewings of the children’s artwork and classrooms.
The children were also kept entertained with croquet using (inflatable) flamingo croquet sticks in true Alice of Wonderland style as well as the Bubble Lady and a (very welcome) visit from the ice-cream van.
Thank you to Mrs Pandey and all her helpers as well as all the kitchen staff for organising such a wonderful afternoon.
