Form III Trip to The Lookout Discovery Centre

Posted: 4th March 2020

The Form III children had an exciting day out to the Lookout Discovery Centre in Bracknell. They enjoyed exploring all the different zones and investigating each exhibit to find out how they worked. The children also went to a ‘Forces’ workshop where they made parachutes, tested materials to learn about friction and looked at magnetic materials. To prove that forces have less impact when they are spread, the children were asked to walk over a wooden board that was sitting on 120 raw eggs. Afterwards the children were astounded to find that there wasn’t a single crack in any of them. What a super day!
