Life before Longacre
Originally from Wales, I studied for a combined honours degree in English and History followed by ten years working in London, initially in investment management and following a belated gap year travelling, I spent eight years working as a Business Analyst for Reuters.
When I had my children (two boys), we lived in Chicago before returning to the UK.
Roles at School
I worked as a TA in Reception for five years which I loved and have since moved to Year 1. The journey you travel on with the children through the year is fascinating, fulfilling and charming in equal measures. I have studied with the Helen Arkell Centre in order to be able to help those children who find different aspects of learning challenging .
Away from the Classroom
Outside school I enjoy keeping fit, I am trying to learn Spanish and generally trying to keep pace with my teenage boys.
