Life before Longacre
Prior to working in education, I had a seven year career with Network Rail as a software analyst in London. In reality my actual desire was to go into teaching, so in 2011 I decided to study and worked as a Teaching Assistant here at Longacre. I then worked at an all girls’ school in Kingston where I had the pleasure of teaching Reception whilst also gaining my Higher Level Teaching Assistant Diploma, specialising in Early Years.
Roles at School
In 2014 I re-joined Longacre where I was offered the role of Kindergarten Teacher. I felt utterly privileged to be back and still feel very lucky to be working here. After returning from maternity leave I took a part time role as a HLTA in Year 1.
Away from the Classroom
Myself and my husband are kept busy and on our toes with our two lovely sons; Max & Leo. Any free time is spent with our family and seeing friends. I speak fluent Italian, enjoy ‘trying’ to keep fit, reading books (when I get the chance) and being by the seaside whenever we can.
