Life before Longacre
I joined Longacre in September 2008 and before this was studying to achieve my Level 3 Childcare Diploma. During this time, I experienced working with a variety of different age groups from Nursery to Form I. It was during my course that I discovered my passion for Early Years teaching.
Roles at School
I am a Reception class teacher and love every minute of it! Each day is different and there is never a dull moment working in Reception. It is so rewarding to watch the children begin their educational journey and I feel proud to be a part of that. From learning about African animals, to discovering what could be hiding under logs in the woods, every day is an adventure!
Away from the Classroom
I have a passion for cooking and spend my free time trying out new recipes for my family and friends. I love long afternoon dog walks with my dog Lola. I always have a good book on the go and try and go running as often as I can.
