After a trip around the world with my sister in 2014, I realised I wanted to work with children and be outside. I began volunteering with the Surrey Wildlife Trust and fell in love with Forest School. I trained with the Trust to become a Forest School Leader and I have helped with Forest School sessions all over the county.
Role at the school
After completing my PGCE I am now a Form III Form Teacher and enjoying all aspects. I also teach Forest School to Nursery and Kindergarten. I run the Forest School club and I also help with the Green Team.
Away from the classroom
Away from the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and all of our pets. My class has worked out that my family currently has 29 pets, with more on the way! Dog walks on the weekend with our four English Pointers are what I enjoy most of all.
