Life before Longacre
Before joining Longacre in September 2016, I was Director of Sport and Senior Teacher (Operations) at Rokeby School, a position I held for nearly seven years. Rokeby is a 13+ boys school in Kingston upon Thames. Prior to this I was Head of Sport at Lanesborough for six and a half years.
Roles at School
My role at Longacre is Deputy Head, which encompasses the day to day running of the school as well as the pastoral care and welfare of all the children. I am the School’s Designated Safeguarding Lead and Health & Safety Officer.
Away from the Classroom
Away from the classroom when not spending time with my wife Catherine and young daughters Ellie and Rosie, I love to cook and enjoy playing cricket for Chiddingfold. When time allows, I am a Compliance and Educational Quality Inspector for ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate), as well as being President of ISPEC (Independent Schools PE Conference), Chair and Trustee of both SATIPS (Support and Training in Prep Schools) and Chiddingfold Village Nursery, as well as a Governor at the local Primary School.
