Before Longacre
I started my teaching career in London and moved to Guildford where I have enjoyed teaching in many Surrey schools, both in the state and independent sector.
Subsequently, I was appointed Head of a SLCN (Speech, Language, Communication Needs) centre and it was from there I decided to pursue a career helping children in Learning Support to achieve their full potential.
Role at Longacre
I am currently a Learning Support Teacher.
Away from the classroom
I am married to Hugh and we have four grown up children, all of whom are teachers! I love nothing more than walking in the Surrey Hills with her chocolate Labrador. When time allows I enjoys playing the piano, reading and more recently can be found on the golf course.
I have been made to feel so welcome and already feel part of the Longacre family.
