Before Longacre
I have a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree and prior to starting a family, I had a successful career as a Marketing Manager in the automotive industry working for premium brands including McLaren, Porsche and BMW. Then in 2002, I decided to put my career on hold to focus on raising my children. However, in 2013 I returned to work as a Teaching Assistant in a local primary school and thoroughly enjoyed this challenging and rewarding role. I then successfully qualified as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in 2017 and covered teacher planning and leadership time across the school, as well as specialising in numeracy and speech and language interventions.
Role at the school
I am a part-time Teaching Assistant in Form I.
Away from the classroom
I am a busy mum of three and a keen walker and cyclist. I enjoy mountain biking at the weekend with my family and dog in the Surrey Hills, as well as road biking. Last year I participated in the 100 km Ride the Night charity event across London. I also enjoy running and have previously completed a half-marathon. When time allows, I enjoy cooking and baking for my family and friends.
