Longacre School has been listed in the Sunday Times table of the Top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools in England published on Sunday 19th November.
Longacre is the only co-educational prep school in the Guildford area to make the list. The ranking is based on scores in reading, grammar and maths from the SATS examinations taken in 2015/16.
Chair of Governors, Andrew Blurton said “The Board, Headmaster and Senior Leadership Team of Longacre are very pleased to see that Longacre has, once again, been listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools. This announcement is a real credit to the school, and in particular to the pupils and staff who work so hard to maintain the academic standards at Longacre.”
Incoming Headmaster (from January 2018) Matthew Bryan commented “This excellent achievement underlines the school’s remarkable ability to combine an inclusive, fun and child-centred environment with real academic rigour. Many congratulations to the pupils and teachers. We are all looking forward to building on these superb results.”Categories: News
