After a delay due to high winds and scurvy (aka COVID) the Plastic Pearl took to the high seas of the Palmer Hall on Wednesday and Thursday this week and Form IV delighted us with their energy, enthusiasm, characterful performances and fantastic singing.
The show was full of humour, bravery and the important environmental message of dealing safely with our plastic waste and the children gave it their all. Thank you to Mrs Burge and Mrs Trinder for their tireless support throughout the term, to Miss Du Pon for the wonderful music, to Julia Martin and Megan Edwards for sound operation and to the team of prop and costume makers who doubled as chaperones – Mrs Mac, Ms Watts, Miss Clarke, Mme Fagg, Miss Thorpe and……. also to Mrs H-P, Mrs Kite and Magic and Messrs Cox and Taylor. Productions wouldn’t happen without the Longacre Team that pulls together!
