Longacre Pupil Wins English Heritage Short Story Competition

Huge congratulations to Rupert B in Year 5 who has been chosen as the overall winner of the English Heritage ‘Tell Us A Story’ short story writing competition. Rupert has won some amazing prizes including a three night stay in an English Heritage cottage for his family, an annual family membership, an illustration of his short story by renowned Welsh artist Clive Hicks-Jenkins as well as a workshop and visit for his whole class to an English Heritage site of his choice.

Rupert’s winning entry was a story about a super granny called Nana Banana who secretly saved Stonehenge. You can read the full story below
